A four-day working retreat in Washington, DC for ambitious optimists ready to turn your political ideas into real bills, pilots, and action!

AGENDA

FROM IDEA TO ACTION

  • Monday: Arrive in DC. Check into a private or shared room in a rowhouse with other fellows. Meet them over dinner.
  • Tuesday: Workshop your mission. Pressure test different paths to impact in small groups. Train your mind for political strength.
  • Wednesday: On the Hill. Meet with local and national leaders. Attend a hearing. See how bills really go from idea to law.
  • Thursday: Turn your mission into a concrete plan — one bill, pilot, campaign, or report. Get expert feedback live.
  • Friday: Final morning session. Pitch your action plan to our big group. Lock in accountability plan. Head home.
  • Ongoing: Monthly post-retreat call with your small group to stay motivated. Lifetime alumni network.

I’m a 3x startup founder, 2x scientist CEO, 8x angel investor, 4x political advisor, and 3x dad!

I got into startups to change the world, and over 14+ years served millions of people and made millions of dollars, but eventually learned that many of the biggest solutions are actually in politics.

One big thing I did in the last nine years was help my immigrant entrepreneur dad run for office, first becoming a state representative and now US congressman.

I also lead the nonpartisan nonprofit Michigan Campaign Finance Network, using investigative journalism to follow dark money in Michigan politics.

I wrote the book Positive Politics, on how to get into politics, change your life, and change the world. This book became a #1 Amazon Best Seller and is still inspiring people to take direct political action!

My mission for this accelerator is to recruit thousands of ambitious optimists like you into activism and politics, positively changing the world with every idea we turn into action!
